US Box Office Estimates July 23-25 2010

Inception holds the the top spot for another week, from Angelina Jolie's new spy thriller Salt, showing a strong retention over the previous week. Despicable continues to draw good crowds though, keeping it in a decent third place, while Nicholas Cage's Sorcerer's Apprentice starts to drop ticket sales.

Meanwhile, Toy Story 3 is still showing that the toys have some longevity, holding on to last weeks spot (and may go up, depending on how the actual figures come out). Kids book adaptation Ramona does a predictable start slotting into 6th place.

Lower down, adults show they have more legs than teenagers, as teen emo-fest Eclipse drops (plummets even) below the Grown Ups, with a resurrection extremely unlikely. Grown Ups is performing better than anyone had expected, and marks one of Sandler's highest grosers, surpassing Click. Finally, Airbender and Predators cling on to the bottom of the top10, and are only likely to be there next week if Eclipse hasn't dead-dropped past them

Originality is 4 out of 10 (Inception, Salt, Despicable, and Grown Ups) - a rare case when the top 3 are all original.
