US Box Office Estimates April 30-May 2 2010

A strong start for Freddie as he murdered the competition this weekend. The franchise's remake made a killing, and left the others trailing. Dragon took a dive, coming in second, while Date night shows that it REALLY loves the number 3, taking the number 3 spot for a third straight weekend.

A fairly typical slide for much of the rest, and a poor start for Brendan Frasier comedy 'Furry Vengeance' means that it is a very average weekend for the lower half of the table, although Kick-Ass is not performing as well as it's studio would like. Finaly, rounding things out, and proving that last weeks income was not down to people unable to get hold of the DVD (or get it to work) Avatar still pulls in $633,124 across 387 locations, enough to keep it in the top-20, barely.
