Muon1 Presentation at Dragon*Con 2011

Frequent readers will know of my work with the Muon1 project. One of the things I do is cover the PR aspect of it, where I run the twitter feed (@muon1) the facebook page, and the unOfficial blog. I also create videos showing the best designs. Occasionally, though, I'll do something else. Sometimes it'll be the press releases, and very occasionally, it will be a presentation.

Just over a month ago, I noted I was giving a presentation on Muon1 as part of the science track for Dragon*Con. For those that didn't make it (for one reason or another) here is the presentation in full.

A week ago, I posted about the bittorrent panel. That was more of a question and answer session for which there were no slides, and was mainly a two-way discussion with myself, TJ, and the audience. This was a presentation on a topic, which was followed by a Q+A session.

This is, however, just the presentation. The question and answer session afterwards was not captured on video, due to camera problems, and so only exists on the official audio, which I'm still waiting for. When the audio is made available, I will post it here as well.

The video has been tidied up as best as possible, but the camera was hand-held, as time shortages meant we couldn't get a tripod set up in time. If I am invited back to do it again next year, it will be Tripod'd

So, without further ado, here's the video, in glorious 720p

Many thanks to Stephen Brooks, for his assistance in the content of the presentation, and for providing a significant amount of the images used throughout.
Thanks also go to Rune Nordbøe Skillingstad for the use of the results timelapse video for Linac900ext6tc2
