With Love, to Tery

I've had several pieces I've worked on, and ready to go over the past few days, but I've been unable to finish them, or concentrate on them at all. On Friday, a dear friend, who was not only a shining example of goodness ,a good friend, and in many ways a surrogate mother, died.


While she had been sick for a while, I had hoped to spend a fair bit of time with her over the summer, but now I won't get that chance. A lovely, warm, kind and generous lady, who was both technologically gifted (rare in her generation) and artistically brilliant, an amazing mother to her children, and who toiled relentlessly, without ever lettings adversity get her down.

Tery made me want to be a better person, a stronger person, and a more giving person, and with her loss, I, and many others, are greatly diminished.

Here's to you babe, I miss you.
