The Muon1 project hit another milestone recently. Last year I posted about it hitting 20 quadrillion (or Million-billion) particle timesteps, well less than 11 months later, it had added another 5 Quadrillion to that number. a 20% increase in work in less than a year!
It's quite an incredible achievement. While it took 10 years (almost) to get to 20 Quadrillion, it took just 11 months to get to to 25. A lot comes from the BOINC wrapper client, over at Yoyo@Home.
