US Box Office Estimates April 9-11 2010

Clash of the Titans takes the top spot for a second week, although there's stiff competition from newcomer Date Night (staring comedy 'Titans' Steve Carell and Tina Fey), and How to Train your Dragon. Tyler Perry's film moved down the order, without the staying power of the 3D films. Otherwise a fairly typical weekend, with the more recent bawdy comedy, Hot Tub, going ahead of the limited time release of Alice, now in it's 6th weekend.

Further down, Bounty Hunter posts a modest return, breaking over the $50M mark just before the weekend started, as kid film Wimpy Kid does so during. The top10 rounds out with reduced release film Letters to God, doing well despite it's Christian-targeted advertising.  Shutter island, and, still, Avatar, are holding on still, depite the latter now being in it's 17th weekend, with $844,000. The big question will be if it still attracts people when the DVD comes out.
