Dragon*Con 2010 - Creative Commons and Podcasting

While at Dragon*Con, one of the most interesting panels was on the podcasting track, and was entitled "Creative Commons and Legal Issues" (you can see the track's schedule here). It dealt with creative commons from the point of view of media users who operate in the quasi-commercial realm of podcasting. The audio of it has now been uploaded, vai theCommandLine podcast.


The panel featured 4 people with great experiance in this subject.

• Randy Chertkow, Author, and musician
• Brian Ibbot - Podcaster, Coverville.com

The panel was a free-flowing dynamic discussion of issues, mostly dealing with sound recordings and the uses under copyright, and who to talk to to deal with it. TheCommandLine has now made the audio available, and can be obtained there. It is 70 minutes long, and well worth every minute. There are also cover notes available here.
